Delete your Pinesky account

1. In the app

1. Open Pinesky and go to Profile.
2. Open Settings and tap Delete Account.
3. Read what will happen, type DELETE and confirm.

The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on every device. This cannot be undone.

2. Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete the account and confirm by email within one month.

3. What is deleted

• Your email address and password, so the account can no longer be signed in to.
• Your profile: name, photo, bio, languages, interests and location.
• The text of every message you sent, and your answers to polls.
• Your sign-ins, push notification registrations, notifications, event responses, saved and hidden events, and read receipts.
• Your places in activities you joined. Upcoming activities you host are cancelled, and the people going are told — without your name.

4. What is kept

• A record with a random identifier and none of the details above, so that other people's chats and activities still make sense.
• Photos you sent in chats, and events you created — without your name.
• Your friend connections and group memberships, attached to that anonymous record.
• Reports made by you or about you, for moderation and safety.
• Crash reports and usage statistics, which are linked only to the random identifier, never to your name or email address.
